Mixologist extraordinaire Bob Peters of the Punch Room in Charlotte, North Carolina, thinks if Jäger were released right now, it would be a hip, sought-after spirit. It’s essentially a rival to trendy Italian digestif Amaro, which seems to be on menus at every happening restaurant and bar around the country. For spring, Peters is ecstatic about the Jäger Punch on his menu. The mixture of Jäger, Sutler’s gin, ginger kombucha from Lenny Boy Brewing Co., juice from freshly pressed oranges, and simple syrup is so delightful (especially when served in a chic vase with accompanying teacups) you’ll want to pour yourself a second glass.
