On the 15th floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte, head mixologist Bob Peters is featuring a unique recipe to thirsty guests. “Every year I make homemade eggnog for the holidays,” he says. “This year I wanted to do something different. It occurred to me that the dominant flavor in eggnog is vanilla and the flavor combination of vanilla and saffron is one of my all-time favorites.”
